After receiving mixed reviews following her performance at the 2022 Glastonbury festival, Diana Ross had something to prove. As she took to the stage as the first headliner at Lytham Festival 2022, she instantly reminded the crowd of why she is one of the greats.

After support from Jack Savoretti, Ross opened with her classic hit "I'm Coming Out", to a very enthusiastic crowd of fans who had stuck it out during the rain to see the iconic soul singer perform. Heading into "Baby Love" and "Stop! In the Name of Love", a screen behind Ross showed excited members of the crowd dancing and waving forgetting all about the poor weather.

Fans of all ages smiled through a cover of Marvin Gaye and Tammy Terrell's "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive". The star then finished with "Thank You", sealing in an amazing night and exciting everyone for what promises to be a fantastic Lytham Festival.
