We were fortunate enough to catch metal electronic fusion duo Crosses as they played a stellar performance at Manchester's New Century Hall.

If you're wondering where you recognise the familiar face, vocalist Chino Moreno is a huge name in metal, as the frontman of the one and only, Deftones. As one of the most widely loved and influential bands in the scene, there aren't many people who haven't heard of Deftones. Crosses ups the electronica, the ambience, and Moreno's collaboration with Shaun Lopez is a complete sonic success.

Performing mostly tracks from their 2023 album Goodnight, God Bless, I Love U, Delete., we found a newfound appreciation for the album, and it has been on repeat since. Moreno is an enigmatic frontman who you can't help but glue your eyes to. The crowd were loving every second, undeterred by the heat. Tracks from their previous two albums were interspersed throughout, the fans singing along to every word.
Overall, an incredible performance, and we highly recommend catching Crosses if you can, their show is one we won't be forgetting any time soon.
