'Call This A Reality?' is teeming with contrasting influences and fresh ideas - this is a band who pays attention to the music around them to form an exciting new sound, following the success of their debut record 'Casino'. Working with renowned producer Bruce Rintoul (Twin Atlantic, Fatherson, Vukovi) Conor, Graeme and Lawrence have put forward a stellar new record.
The album opens with the heavy and intense first track, "Stutter", entering the listener into the world of 'Call This A Reality?' and setting the tone for the record. With vocals that can be compared to the likes of Green Day legend Billie Joe Armstrong, "Stutter" is the perfect opening to what promises to be a memorable album.

Fans of Royal Blood and Bring Me the Horizon will be delighted with Anchor Lane's latest offering, as this 2000s alternative rock influenced album continues with "Ministry" and title track "Call This A Reality?". With tight experimental drumbeats and four to the floor rhythms, the pumping record is perfect for any mood.
"The Mischievous Song" and "Electric Karma" take the record on a playful, upbeat turn, before bringing in a more sombre tone with the emotive "Bitter", returning to the BMTH influences. "The Static" is a dark, melancholic and haunting interlude, before the electric and "Sycophant Disorder." Ending on an upbeat note, "I Don't Have Another Soul To Pour" overflows with punky attitude and anger, a track that will bring any live audience into an excited frenzy.
